The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has the fifth most Line of Duty Deaths of all departments across the United States of America, with 173 officers having died in the line of duty. In order to honor and celebrate these heroic officers, we send representatives to Jefferson City and Washington DC each year in remembrance.

The St. Louis Police Officers’ Memorial Fund sends families of the fallen, coworkers, active officers, retired officers, and civilian employees of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department to these various events.

Additionally, the St. Louis Police Officers’ Memorial Fund maintains the St. Louis Police Memorial located in Downtown St. Louis.
